We are a public charity organization of people of all faiths dedicated to working as Volunteers and Public Service Chaplains. As Volunteers and we are focused on equipping, certifying and training Churches and men and women in the many different areas of crisis, disaster and chaplaincy to serve others in critical times. Whether it is a mother needing help with food or a major disaster, we want to help men and women get certified in the area that they wish to serve their community and ountry in a time of crisis or disaster.
Heavenly Father we pray for this world and all that lives upon it and we ask that you place your hand upon us and to help us raise up men and women that can be a benifit and blessing to their community, county, state and country as a community local governments and humartarian volunteer groups as volunteers and chaplains in Jesus Name.
"Jesus said if you have done this to the least of these, then you have done it unto me. "I am Christian in my own personal faith, but not so narrow minded that I cannot see into the hearts of people from all walks of life that have a heart to serve others, and we are looking for such men and women who can express the true Spirit of Servanthood and Compassion to anyone in need. Chaplains and Volunteers must be willing to be the least instead of the greatest and also have a servant attitude at all times.

Many people do not understand that thier comminity, county, state and country is not only protected 24/7 by our government workers and military forces, but also all emergency and first responders. The emergency and first responders are often overlooked and taken for granted for that serve us all in our communities 24/7 so we can be safe also.
As a suggestion I work as a volunteer at the local chapter of the American Red Cross, a VFW post, and also as a the Chaplain at North Lenoir Fire and Rescue Fire Department in Kinston, NC. We have several EMT's and Law enforcement officers and even an assitant district attonery that volunteers their time to be also a volunteer firefighters and volunteers at the Red Cross when the need arises. But being connected and trained before a major crisis hits America, makes you either prepared or not to help in a time of trouble.
For many years I never saw the need to first meet and be willing to help those around me in thier need and spend some time with victims first before I shared before my relationship with Christ with them. But in 2001 when Septemeber 11th, 2001 happened, my world was rocked and changed. Being a Vietnam War Veteran myself caused me to reconsider the path my life was taking me. I had traveled the world in full-time ministry, but in reality I had never focused on my own community to help hurting people effected in disasters who have either lost a loved one, thier possesions or had thier lives turned upside down in some way such as a house fire.
Since 9/11/2001 I have been slowing dieing to what I once wanted to do and be. I even had the nerve to think that I was a sucessful minister with a recognized ministry and now I've have been directed to build a army of men and women who are qualified, trained, equipped and certified as volunteer laborers and chaplaincy. A volunteer or Chaplain must be willing to serve everyone and always have a heart of compassion for those they meet in real need.
For me I finally saw who the greatest Chaplain in the world was and is and that is our Lord Jesus Christ, who is my personal Lord and Savior. He misnitered not in the chuch of his day, but the Hills, highways, fields and roadsides is where he ministered with compassion and unconditional love to the suffering, the sick and the needy. He even feed over 5,000 people one time with only 2 loaves of bread and 5 fish. His heart has become my heart and his mission has become my mind and he commanded us to go into all the world and make disciples, not of ourselves, but for Him.
Chaplain means Minister of God's Presence or Little Church and also a Keeper of Compassion. It took the greatest disaster in my lifetime to wake me up and seek the heart of God and once I did he began to show me His love for all mankind, not just one sect, group, culture or religion. Just think; was the thief on the cross really religious that asked Jesus to have mercy on him and to remember Him. Jesus response was; Today you shall be with me in paridise. He did not have time to join a church, get baptized or even discipled, but he did receive forgiveness while dieing on that cross beside our Savior that day. Your personal relationship to Jesus Christ is what grants you mercy before a Holy God, not your religion.
To me that is the whole purpose of being a beleiver is to allow the Holy Spirit to rule my daily life and to yield myself to be a servant to all those around me. "Jesus said; He who will be the greatest among you must first become willing to be a servant to all.' Have you ever felt the pain of the lost and those suffering around you? Can you feel people's pain, grief and loss?
Even though I'm personally a Christian, that does not give me the right to condemn and judge people of other faiths. Until this confused world can see Jesus in our eyes, hear Jesus in our voice and feel Jesus in our touch, no matter who or what we say we are, we are just professors full of our own doctrines, beliefs and forms of religion and not really examples of our sacrifical Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.
His Word says that He did not come into this world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." The Scriptures also say, that He not only died for our sins, but for the sins of the whole world." When God opens your heart to see this world through His heart and eyes of Love, then you will be one of His true and faithful witnesses.
So our training is being offered to the few who want to become a servant first to their neighbor, thier community, county, state and then nation if need be. If you are interested then fill out the application to start your process of becoming an ERCC member. May God bless and keep you and make His face shine uon you and give you peace.
If you are a church that would like to get trained and become your own emergency response team the ERCC can offer you a Charter and also come and train the people in your community that are willing to work under you as Responders and volunteers. That leaves you the local church in charge of your own group of Volunteers and Chaplains. We just provide the charter, the training and the ID cards that are fema approved. The ERCC is connected to several major Chaplain organizations around the world and together you link up with over 10,000 chaplains and volunteers by joing the ERCC.
Please go to FEMA.gov and take the Basic 5 Incident command courses that are required for all responders so you will be compliant to federal law as a volunteer working on a major crisis or disaster scene along side your local, county, state or national legal authorities that are assigned to help. These courses are free and the IS-100b, IS-700, IS-200b, IS-800-NRF and the IS-805.
We offer a 4 to 6 days overview of disaster response, liability, grief counseling, Cism and Critical incident stress debriefing. We give christian accredited certificates of completion that to those that sign up and complete these classes. If you want these courses taught instead of as an overview and introduction then each course is 8 hours long. But as I have found the church has to many programs and other priorities that take up their time to get properly trained for serving others through their community services.
If you as a pastor or church leader would like for me to come and just give a 4 day overview of what you need to do to prepare then please contact me by email with your name, location and phone numbers. You may also request a phone conference to talk with me about all that we have to offer for your benifit and that makes you more benificial to your community.
We are truely living in a world that is needs us all. But the church must become not just a building or religious form, but a laborer for Christ in his fields of harvest as His servants. Instead of losing your sheep your church you will actually grow if you let the Holy Spirit be in control. I love the church and I know I am a voice crying in the wilderness to prepare the church for the greatest Harvest, but it will be in the fields of crisis, calmity, disasters and even prisons and even death. The man that taught me how to preach lead over 40, 000 thousand young men to Christ as he held them that died while he held them in his arms in War War II. He crawled from one bomb shell and through trenches as a true soul winner for Christ. He left studying to become a doctor to answer the call to become a Chaplain. They would not let him speak to the soliders when they came off the front lines, so his ministry was on the front lines of the battle field. That is where the true church is going, if it is wise and will get ready.
Are you ready to serve this world in another national crisis? A Rude awaking must come to America before there can be another Great Awaking!
Economic Crisis is comimg. Disasters both natural and man-made will continue to incrtease. Possible Civil unrest, Political unrest and another even the possiblity of Martial Law. We are working on a course now as how to operate and minister under times of martial law.
Join and get trained now so you be a part of a solution instead of part of the problem! I have personally lost everything in life, my home to fire and floods, my only son to cancer. But it has made me even more compassionate to those that lose instead always winning. Jesus said, you first must be willing to lose your life, before you can really find out what life is all about. Life is about serving others instead of yourself.
